Las Vegas, NV - Capitalizing on a national trend toward resale shopping, local husband and wife entrepreneurs Matthew and Stephanie Fournier are gearing up to attract local parents and families to their new Children's Orchard store, a resale franchise that offers gently used, high quality brand name children's clothing, equipment and accessories at hugely discounted prices.

The store, at 7501 W. Lake Mead Boulevard # 118 in Summerlin, opened its doors to the public on February 2. Children's Orchard has a wide selection of merchandise nestled inside its colorful, boutique-like atmosphere, giving the whole shopping experience an upscale feel. Children's Orchard also buys clothes and other items by appointment, paying cash and offering store credit for gently-used brand name children's clothing.

"The discounts, selection of name brands and customer loyalty programs that we offer at our new Las Vegas Children's Orchard are unreal," said Stephanie Fournier. "As the mother of three young children and as a Children's Orchard customer myself, I'm very excited to introduce the Children's Orchard concept to even more families throughout Las Vegas who are looking for the best possible fashions for their children at unbelievably affordable prices."

As parents themselves, the Fourniers recognized the lucrative market for children's resale fashions and other items. Compared to department stores, where most customers would expect to pay $75 or more for a Ralph Lauren dress, the same dress would cost around $13 at Children's Orchard. Similarly, GAPKIDS, Abercrombie, Tommy Hilfiger Kids separates that cost upwards of $70 at most stores would likely be closer to $12-$15 at Children's Orchard.

"On the selling side, by bringing used items to Children's Orchard, parents can earn money and store credit for clothes and other items that their children can no longer use, without the hassle of having to organize a garage sale," Stephanie said.
