Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Announces Winners of Small Business Excellence Awards

Las Vegas - Today, the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce announced the winners of its Small Business Excellence Awards. The "BIZ E's" honor small businesses, entrepreneurs and non-profits that epitomize business excellence. This is the first year for the BIZ E awards.
The winners in each award category are:
Small Business of The Year
Fair, Anderson & Langerman, a CPA and business advisory firm. The award was accepted by Mike McDonald, sr. client services director.
Entrepreneur of the Year
Darcy Neighbors, owner and president of Consultants in Marketing, an advertising, public relations and marketing firm.
Non-Profit of the Year
AFAN - Aid for AIDS of Nevada, Inc. AFAN is dedicated to providing support and advocacy for individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS. Caroline Ciocca, executive director, accepted the award.
Innovative Business of the Year
Uptime, a company that specializes in network and system design. Shelly Rounds, co-owner, accepted the award.
"The Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce is proud to honor the best in small business and pay homage to their hard work, courage, dedication and contributions to our community," said Kara Kelley, president & CEO of the Chamber who presented the awards along with Chamber Board of Trustee Chairman John Wilcox.
