Quality Home Loans Donates $20,000 to Habitat for Humanity,Building A Home For The Less Fortunate


Las Vegas, NV- November 13, 2007- Calabasas based Quality Home Loans, donated $20,000 to Habitat for Humanity in a surprise donation at the Western Regional Mortgage Brokers Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their donation made it possible for the organization to build a home for the less fortunate in the Las Vegas area.

Quality Home Loans surprised WRMB Director Mark Goldman, with the generous donation Presented to Guy Amato President, CEO of Habitat for Humanity Vegas, Inc., at the Homestyle Breakfast at The Mirage.

According to Goldman, "We received a call from Quality Home Loans, and they said they wanted to help raise money for the organization. They started off by purchasing $1000 worth of raffle tickets, knowing the proceeds would go to Habitat for Humanities. They called back the next day, and said that their president Patrick Weaver, believed so strongly in the organization, and felt that they both had the same goals in mind…. Habitat builds homes for those less fortunate, and Quality Home Loans helps families KEEP their homes." Goldman continued, "We have never had a company donate so generously!"


Habitat for Humanity is a not-for-profit organization that builds decent, affordable housing with the help of countless people donating time, materials and funds. These families contribute "sweat equity" by aiding in the labor and construction of their own homes. Through this unique partnership, Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas offers a hand up, not a hand out. Quality Home Loans is planning hands on participation in building the house, which is scheduled for March 2007.
