Henderson, Nevada, August 25, 2008... Inc. magazine ranked Henderson, Nevada-based Sting Surveillance #2 nation-wide in the security industry and 116 on its annual ranking of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the country.
The company is also the fifth-fastest growing company in Nevada, as ranked by Inc.
Owned by Jonathan Fine and Jon Perry, Sting Surveillance offers comprehensive security solutions, including surveillance technology and alarms for loss prevention and deterrence as well as technology solutions.
Sting Surveillance's sales growth from 2004 through 2007 was 1,754.3 percent.
Clients include hotel/casinos, bars/nightclubs, convention facilities, real estate/construction firms, restaurants, retail stores, check cashing/loan stores, homeowners associations and private residences, among others.
The company provides digital video recorders, CCTV cameras, credit card verification and wireless solutions.
Inc. pegged security as one of the most notable median growth categories among the country's fastest-growing businesses.
The 2008 Inc. 5000 list measures revenue growth from 2004 through 2007. To qualify, companies must be U.S.-based and privately held, for profit, independent - not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies - as of December 31, 2007, and have had at least $200,000 in revenue in 2004, and $2 million in 2007.
